Heart of Fire

The world is changing. Its growing hotter, becoming a furnace. I have a story to tell, of the future. The world will grow to set on fire. It is inevitable as I have predicted based on the trends of time, the evolution of life, and the progression of humanity and their technical advances. Overheating, as it is, being overused and misused, drained of its natural resources. The fuel that is being rel
eased into the atmosphere is acting as an additive to radiation, attracting causes to the deterioration of our natural hemispheres. The protective surface of planet earth is dwindling, and we are becoming more exposed to ultra violet rays from the sun. The earth was made to be nurturing, and has nestles life, but that is about to change. The earth will come to no longer be able to sustain life here on earth as we know it. Eventually, it will become so hot that it will be difficult to breathe. The people will have to adjust in order to maintain their progressive lives. Technology will assist in this.

However, there will come a point when, human beings will be required to evacuate the earth. Of course by that time there will be advances that will allow individuals to exit the earth’s hemisphere and travel into outterspace for the duration of their lives. Tickets for this journey, perhaps a million dollars per head, or who knows. So, one hundred lucky people may get to go to space while earth burns to hell. And what of everyone else. There will only be one way. The remainder of the human race will be forced underground, where they are protected for the elements and the massive heat as the surface of earth burns a flaming furnace. Many will die. Some will be led to safety. An entire new way of life will be adapted here. Living underground, they will be required to live near the water, because the earth even under the surface will be rising to boiling temperatures. They will travel deeper and deeper toward the core, seeking refuge.

These people will live near the water, underground. The water becomes hot. The water, even the deepest depth of the ocean, begins to boil. People will physically evolve in order to survive. They will build passageways between the earth and the water, and create a new way of life built around digging, climbing, and swimming. Due to the massive heat of the water, the earth, the air, chemicals will be dispelled at an enormous rate and quantity, into the atmosphere. These chemicals will dictate the next evolution of the species. They become saturated with things that make their skin appear shiny, like metallic, bronze and silver and gold… some will obtain eyes of jewel stone colours, and their hair will shine like the sun. They will develop gills or some other sort of means for breathing; using air.

Eventually, all of the water will boil out of the earth’s basin; and all of the land will dry up, and the people once more will emerge from the depths to see the surface of the earth. But they will not know what we know, for all of the dispersed chemicals now paint the earths outermost atmosphere with glowing hues… and there are no stars at night, and there is no moon to be seen, and there is no sun to know. And the people glow like sun and moon and stars… and they are born again, like new. And the furnace hath repaired the earth, and cleansed the surface of all its life, and there are no more intoxications, and there is no more pollution or disease or death. This is the new world.
